Michelle,
If you haven't already, the first I would do is to clear the
CMOS......usually a jumper that you set/re-set for 2 to 5 seconds. Not sure
that may be your problem, but is one of the first things I do when
troubleshooting........

Subject: [PCBUILD] No display
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me troubleshoot a new computer I am building
for my daughter.
m/b- D1170-A (fujitsu-siemens)(onboard sound and video)
cpu- Intel Celeron 800mhz (socket 370)
RAM- pc100 64mb sdram (x2)
So far, I have not connected anything else,as there is no display, and so no
access to the bios.
All components are new, including case and power supply, and the mainboard
lights up, but that's as far as it goes. I have tried 2 new processors so
far.
When I disconnect the monitor, I get a white screen, so a connection is
being made somewhere.
I have checked and double checked the switches.
When I remove the ram, I get the beeps like I should.
I've emailed fujitsu-siemens who have been about as much use as a paper
umbrella in a rainstorm.
Any suggestions anyone?
I want to try everything possible before I condemn the m/b, as I will run
into the same problems with the replacement.
I think I've covered everything.
Thanks in advance.
