Aldo:

As far as I´m concerned, DirectX5.0 is far from glitch-free. I have had
numerous problems with it but finally got it to work with my video card. I
would try reinstalling DirectX5.0 after removing the old S3 drivers from
C:\Windows\System. Do not erase them as you may inadvertently erase
something else. They probably start with S3xxxx.vxd and S3xxxxx.drv. If you
do not want to do this, you might still try to reinstall DirectX. Hope this
