Note that the Mattson studies done with mice and rats on every-other-day
eating/fasting showed that the subjects fed/fasted EOD showed better reductions in
fasting insulin levels while not even losing any weight, than those on
traditional CR. (Check 'Mattson every other day' in Google for references.)

You must have missed the two studies posted to this list recently
demonstrating that calorie restriction affects longevity only by
decreasing insulin.
