I have celiac disease (no wheat/rye/oats/barley, which contain gluten)
and Type II diabetes (few carbs allowed). I eat only what I know is
gluten free AND low in carbs or low in glycemic index. I also exercise
30-60 minutes a day.
So --- I cruise the buffet picking up salad items, plain sliced meat,
and so forth. I find it easy to stop when I am full because I am not
tempted by the pastries and other forbidden foods. I simply consider
them "inedible."
