The plant is quite toxic and triggers allergic reactions in
many people. Not the sort of thing I'd want to eat.

It is highly monounsaturated. The main fatty acid found in it is
a quite unusual one called "ricinoleic" acid. This is a MUFA and
makes up 90% of castor oil.
I can't find a complete fat profile, probably because castor oil
is not considered a foodstuff.
