>Are most of the people in this group ex-fat people or is there anyone doing
this for health reasons that previously had a normal weight body? Just
seems most threads lead back to the weight thing and one point or another.
I am a lifelong thin person and got into palaeo for health reasons and to
get rid of depression and mood swings. I tried palaeo a number of times
over the years but I always kept sugar in it. Only recently did I figure
out I was sugar sensitive and scrapped all the sugar and honey in my diet
and now I feel great. I do still eat fruit but I always eat it with a
protein and I don't seem to have a problem with it. (Depression and mood
swings are gone). I've only gotten it working for me for the past two
months but the results are great. I have started weight training to put on
body weight so I'll see how that goes over time. Considering the lack of
concentrated carbs I haven't lost any weight which is good (well maybe a
kilo but it fluctuates up and down about that amount weekly).
I also take fish oil capsules, an antioxidant and mineral supplement and
keep a food diary.
