<sigh> The *payment* of income tax is NOT voluntary in the U.S.
It's only the calculation and filing that can be voluntary if you
wish; if you don't, the IRS will prepare your income tax return
for you.

I'm all for paying as little in tax as I can.  There have been
years where I legally paid $0 in tax.  But that should not be
confused with the myth that U.S. citizens are not legally
obligated to pay their taxes.

Moreover, it should not be confused with anything remotely
associated with paleolithic nutrition.
