Hi :) I wrote the other day about Hunter's whole face turning bright red and getting hives (ranging from round to oval, the size of a pencil eraser to the size of a nickel) on his cheeks, chin, upper lip and neck, during/after eating 1oz Beech Nut squash. Almost everyone who saw the pics was surprised and concerned BUT 2 people (not allergy moms) said "well if he is allergic then I guess my child was allergic to everything too (sarcastic undertones here) cuz that's what he/she looked like when eating for the first months. its just what happens when the food touches their skin." I don't think it is normal to get a bright red warm rash w/ hives....but now I am second guessing myself. could it really be "nothing"?? Thanks for your input. I still have the pics if anyone wants to see.
