I told kat that you would be the one to get the answer. Also the republic of
texas came in under treaty. It reserved the rights of a navy and also the
right should they want to split into a max of six states. Now that is a
interesting thought from 50 to 55 states at the act of texas legislature.
Sthe state of se texas, sw texas, etc. I personally think texans are so used
to talking about the bigness of texas for that to happen.

Well, I would say, Texas. It was a Republic before it joined the Union.
