I do hope that there were limits to what kind and quantity of commerce
our "friends" were conducting with the "champion of Democracy". I hope
we do not find German manufactured gas production machinery, Russian
engineered munitions and delivery systems, French....uniforms? AND I
certainly hope that they let our folks know about any of that stuff
that might be operational before our people were placed in the theatre.
A report I heard indicated that one Abrams tank was taken out by a
Russian missile, and one helicopter was shot down by a French weapon.
One sounds like something that might have escaped notice even if we had
very good intelligence...I hope so. Its nice to have friends. I don't
think we will find any Canadian weapons.
