Of course "always" and "never" apply "never" ;-)
I don't know your "GM-contamination" but of course all sorts of
contaminations occur in the "industrial" production process.
However - it has much more problems to raise animals than to produce crops.
Animals eat crops and accumulate any toxins found there - multiplying
the problem, if any.
Animals are more expensive and producers try harder to cut dows cost -
with consequences
(why not use hormones? why not feed xyz-crap?)
Animal matter is more suspect to deterioration.
BSE (mad cow) "schweinepest" (?), chicken virus occur not by accident.
That's not a basical problem of eating animals. Just a real-world one.
