Not really. Corn is a thoroughly domesticated grass. In it's wild form
it wouldn't be so easy to harvest, as each seed is covered with a hull,
like wheat.
Personally, I doubt that a little corn is a problem, but heavy corn
eating is associated with several vitamin deficiency diseases. I eat it
sometimes, grow it in my garden actually.
