Many or maybe all fruits at the supermarket have been harvested in an
unripe state and have to ripen alone without the tree. Does anyone here
have any information about the difference between the nutritional value of
these fruits and the nutritional value of corresponding fruits that have
ripened on the tree, disregarding the eventual chemicals that have been
applied on the fruit after harvesting? (E.g. apples, oranges, bananas and
avocados)
