Thanks for the links. I think though that because he still recommends like
5 servings a day of grains that, like you said, his version of "high
protein" is probably lower than mine. I think the main benefits of his
diet are probably due to what isn't in the diet, like refined products,
processed foods, etc. It is somewhat reassuring to see that a diet with
more animal products is being proven to be healthier during pregnancy. I
am wondering what sort of protein was used in the study showing a link
between high protein diets and low birth weight.
