If you're not in a big hurry, flax seeds and sesame seeds have worked well
for me - just chew a big mouthful of sesame seeds or grind flax and add to
foods.  My favorite is still Cascara Sagrada - but it is definitely a
laxative.  It's very dependable and has never given me any problems at low
doses.
