We have a rebellion going on down here. There is a redistircting bill in the
legislature which would divide Austin into four congressional districts. One
such proposed district would reach from here to Laredo! 230 miles away! 50+
Dem legislature went AWOL and are hiding out in a Holiday Inn in Ardmore, OK.
The governor(R) has sicced the state troopers on them, but the troopers have
no jurisdiction in OK. It would be funny if it were not delaying tort reform,
health insurance, etc. legislation.
