You can enter frequencies directly into the VFO with the keyboard on the
TH-F6A.  Just press Enter, punch in the numbers, and press Enter again.  If
you know the last memory used, you can enter it directly from the keyboard
by performing the steps described above, but with the radio in Memory
Recall mode.  Then, if you switch back to the VFO, press Function, and turn
the tuning knob one click to the right, you will have selected the next
available memory.  On the other hand, if you use the software, you can
enter data into any memory in the radio.
