Senior Project Coordinator
Education & Human Resources
Successful candidate will serve as Technology Lead for the AAAS (American
Association for the Advancement of Science) Project on Science Technology
and Disability with a special emphasis on the Entry Point! Project.
Responsibilities include monitoring, tracking and reporting to project staff
on the current status of 300+ student records throughout the entire
application process; research, design and implement electronic surveys; code
and report on data from the database; conduct independent follow-up
activities on the program's participants while maintaining the strictest
confidence on data related to program participants; plan and organize
strategic campus recruitment visits; make small group presentations,
interview students, and report on these activities; research, write, and
edit materials for project publications and presentations; edit and document
all information inquiries for the project; plan and implement logistics for
project meetings, events and trips while orchestrating all accessibility
issues related to meeting attendees; perform other duties as assigned. This
is a full time regular position anticipated to extend for a period of one
year.
Qualifications: Position requires extensive university or college level
training leading to a Bachelor's degree; 2-3 years of related work
experience; strong research and writing skills; solid computer skills
(Word-processing, Excel and Internet); strong database experience (Access
skills required); strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; ability
to work independently but also as a team player; proven organizational
skills; ability to handle multiple assignments; ability to travel.
