Some more information I neglected to include in the original message.
The OS is XP/Home and there are three (3) users on the machine.
When the machine boots, you are presented with a login screen for one of
three users to login. The problem described below is effecting only one of
the users, the other two are problem free.

Subject: Unwanted Desktop Icons
I maintain several computers through out the neighborhood where I live, and
have come across a perplexing problem.
One of my neighbors recently has an extra column of icons appearing on their
desktop. They reference XXX sites, pharmacies, gambling and some others.
There is no place I can find within the column to click, either right or
left mouse click, to close the display. I can't find any reference to it in
any place I look. Can anyone be of some help?
Thanks
