There is a simple way to subscribe to a Yahoogroup without going through all
of the YhooCrap.

Let's say the group you want to join is called Turtles.  Send a blank
message to [log in to unmask]
and you will receive a message confirming that you did this and that message
will tell you to complete your subscription by doing various things.  The
simplest thing to do in this case is to reply to this message with a bblank
message of your own, just hit reply and send.  You will be subscribed with
no messy passwords, forms to fill out, etc.
