The patches are at the Windows Update site. It is (or appears to be) a
complicated process because MS has changed the software but just keep
clicking through and you'll get the updates you need. Supposedly, anyone
who is running XP is safe if they have the patches installed. What I didn't
see was a tool to remove the worm once you've got it.
But, it isn't necessarily the newest worm that causes constant restarts,
there are other older worms and trojans that do the same thing.
I haven't checked in the past week, but www.pcpitstop.com often has pretty
good info and free tests are always up there.
