Doreen,

  I'm using Windows 98se and often use  MSDOS.  I get to it by pressing
control+escape and then m.  It helps to press Insert+s and spacebar to get
JAWS to read All rather than just Highlighted text when using DOS.

  Once there you're at a DOS> prompt and can enter the path to whatever
program you want to run, then pressing Enter.  If that program's on a floppy
disk, give the path A:\.... to where it is on that floppy.

  When finished, type Exit and press Enter to close MSDOS.  You should also
press Insert+s+s to get back to JAWS's reading only Highlighted text.
