Try having pupils fixed and dilated at 9 mm across, cataracts AND Nystagmus, each of which makes you VERY light sensitive. I have gotten SEVERE headaches from just walking from the back of a parking lot into a store. Then there is the bumper carts, signs, tire bumps, curbs, etc. My husband is a fairly well trained Seeing Eye Husband. But, even he has been known to get distracted and run me into or trip me over
something. That too can be QUITE painful. We only park in a Disabled spot if there is more than one open and if it is very bright out. (And in GA, the sunlight can get VERY brutal!!!)
