Hi to all. Peter, while I have't tried Outlook Web Access, I suspect that
Jay is correct. If you want to use a Web-based E-mail system (and I'm
actually doing just that), set up a hotmail account and DO NOT CONFIGURE IT
TO TAKE INCOMING OR MESSAGES FROM OUTLOOK OR OUTLOOK EXPRESS. Instead, save
the web address of your hotmail account to your favorites folder and then
use Internet Explorer with JAWS to access it. I very much enjoy reading my
E-mail from a web-based system, because (1) I have to worry less about
getting viruses through it (if memory serves, Hotmail already scans your
E-mail with Norton before you read it); and (2) I have much greater control
over junk mail than my friends who take their mail off-line do (I've set up
a separate junk mail folder, and I've set up my Inbox to receive mail only
from addresses in my address book or on a safe list which Hotmail allows you
to create as a separate folder). Anyway, I hope this helps.
