Dear Listers,

Upon completion of further experimentation with what I was doing yesterday
when my browser became overrun, I discovered that I contacted the so called
"spy software" from Kazaa. The test on this is conclusive. Beware, big
brother is watching! :)

Dino.

Hello Listers,

Thank you.

Dear kto7,

Ah.. hey for your information, I fixed the problem. All I did was change
the address that had been put in the default home page locator. So far so
good. But, I'll give your suggestion a try also, just to make sure. And,
it's probably far past the time for me to look into virus and firewall
protection.

Thank you so much for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Dino.

Do you know if it is really safe to do this? And, just out of curiosity,
does your name suggest that you are an elementary school teacher?

I have used Spybot S&D for about a year now -- so in my
view it is "safe." No kto7 has nothing to do with education.
It was my rate designation while in the navy.

Best wishes. . .
