I'm not sure about this, but it's worth a try:

1. go to the desk top

2. press windows key with f

3. press alt l and type c:\ in the edit box

4. press alt n and enter at least part of the file name you seek

5.  You should get a list of files so arrow thru these until you come to the
one you want and press enter on it. The associated program should open with
this file.
