Subject: Spam Killer update

Several folks asked for a public response about what I think of the McAfee
SpamKiller. I have now had it for about 3 days and think it is great. I
don't have a screen reader in the computer I'm using, so I have to install
it somewhere else to see if it is accessible. I can say this so far. It
has a user interface window that is keyboard accessible. That is a good
indicator that it may just work out fine.

What you do with it is to turn off you own email program's automatic
checker. Then you let SpamKiller do the checking. It checks every 10
minutes or so which I think you can change. It doesn't send the email to
your email program it makes a sound about what kind of message came in. It
makes a gunshot sound for known spam and isolates it to a separate folder.
It makes a dog bark for something you need to verify, and it makes a wind
chime sound from anyone in your address book. You get to check everything,
then you just tell your email program to check messages and it brings in
what you want to see.

So far it has killed 30 spam messages in 3 days, and I have checked barked
messages and deleted about 5 more. This is a cool thing. The access
information will be forthcoming soon.

Karyl
