I figured there would be some complaints about this.  I suppose this is not
the  place to send such things but I wanted to go on record as saying that
I thought these were pretty funny and was glad to receive them.  I used to
work in psych and can guarantee that almost all of my clients would have
found them funny too.  I don't mind jokes about the blind either.  I guess
I don't take offense unless whatever is said is meant in a mean-spirited
way or someone is expressing something truly ignorant.  I saw this as a
joke, nothing more.  Obviously others are more sensitive and it is
important to keep that in mind when dealing with a large number of
strangers such as on this list.

I always find it fascinating that there are so many different reactions to
something like this.  I personally find Mr. MaGoo  offensive but have known
blind people who do not.  Maybe it is in how we perceive the intent of the
speaker or provider of the material.
