Excuse my cross posting, but I thought that some of you might be interested
in this topic, since it involves finding employment at a time when we can
all use all the resources available to us.

Seminar Series to create new career and employment opportunities
for persons who are blind, visually impaired or physically disabled.

eSight Careers Network™ (http://www.esightcareers.net) and the
Adaptive Solutions for Independence jointly present a series
of professional development seminars to help people who are blind,
visually impaired or physically disabled create new career and
employment opportunities. There will be opportunities for networking
so participants are encouraged to bring their resume.

On Thursday, November 8, 2001 the National Statler Center for
Careers in Hospitality Service will address the topic of
“New Concept in Hospitality Employment Training”. The Seminar
is held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Angela Perez Center at
the YWCA, 610 Lexington Avenue, Room 903 A – B (Southwest corner
of 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue).  To register for this free
seminar, get travel directions or if you require special
accommodations please contact Irene Del Moral at (212) 766-6800 extension
110. You can also register online at http://www.esightcareers.net.
Space is limited and registration is required.

The Statler Center provides disabled individuals with the right tools
for successful careers in the hospitality industry.  Graduates of
the comprehensive program are computer-literate and job-ready,
equipped with a thorough knowledge of industry standards.
Assistance in completing training applications will be available.

Anyone unable to attend can still participate.

and received on or before Monday, November 5th, will be
presented during the question and answer portion, time permitting.

This seminar will be recorded and will be make available on eSight
