Two points:

(1)  A program such as this is a convenience -- annd that's what you are 
paying for.  Whether that is worth the cost, this is a subjective question 
only an individual can answer for themselves.

(2)  We have had considerable discussion on this list, in the past, 
whether driver updating is always a good thing.
Some have suggested that sometimes leaving well enough alone is the more 
prudent approach.  Same goes for program updating.

So, in my mind, neither issue is a slam dunk.

Curious now if anyone has used the program in question and how usable it 
is with screen readers.
