There are actually seeveral.
The 8300 and 5300 are, I believe the most popular.
They have self-voiced menus and voice activation right out of the box, but
only at first and sometimes second level menus. That means, you can enter
all your contact, look up a phone number, add another phone number to a
person's info, have particular ring tones assigned to individual callers,
have caller ID, check battery status and signal strength, and probably a
bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting, but you can't text message with them.
BOth are camera phones and the 8300 is an MP3 playeras well, a feature which
has been reported by many blind folks as accessible.
The Motorola Q is a SmartPhone offered by Verizon. To make it accessible,
though, you need to buy Mobile Speak or Smart Hall for another 4300 to load
onto it.
I have the LG8300 and love it. And I like the fact that I'm using the same
phone anyone would who walking into Verizon as a customer -- with no special
jazz added to it just for me.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Current Accessible Cell Phone Offered by Verizon
Hello fellow listers:
I have a friend who wants to sign up as a verizon wireless customer. Does
anyone know which cell phone verizon wireless is currently offering to blind
persons? I'm sure its an "lg", but what is the latest offering? If anyone
has this phone, I would be interested in hearing user comments as well.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
John
