Dave, have you installed any programs lately that set up a virtual drive
such as Alcohol 120%?

Alan Priol

I've got a P4 2.4 WinXP PC loaded up with various hardware - three hard
drives, a CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, ZIP drive, and CF reader. These are
assigned drive letters A - L by Windows. Mysteriously, windows has
assigned a drive "M" which I can't figure out what it is. When I
"click" on it, it says "please insert disk into drive M. Disk
Management doesn't see it. Clicking on properties doesn't help either.
I've got most everything unplugged from the unit except the ZIP drive
and CF reader.

Any ideas on how to solve this mystery?
