Contamination should be hunted in the right end.
In Sweden there are very little campylobacter, and salmonella does
practically not exist at all in swedish poultry.
And this is with very little antibiotics. Should there be
detected salmonella in a population, all the chickens are killed
and destroyed immediately.
This shows it is actually possible to eliminate contamination
without need for special treatment after slaughter.
