I have been up and down with supplements. I won't deny that they do
some people good, especially those who are clinically deficient, but I
am not sure that most people need them. For myself, a
multivitamin-mineral a day is too much. After a few days my joints,
where I have damaged them at one time or another, begin to ache. I get
hand pain when using the computer mouse. It disappears when I stop the
supplements. Also vitamin C taken alone does the same. Vitamin A or
carotene same. Even my teeth ache.
I still take fish oil, because my fat is "imbalanced" according to some
theories. I take some other things if I catch a cold or the like.
