  Thanks, Scott, I appreciate your comments.  I have my ways of dealing with
Ken Barber's barbs.
I am a liberal, and have never hidden that fact. Several days ago Ken called
me a liberal democrat dealing in rhetoric. I was surprised at the name
calling, but after stewing about it for a few hours, I said, you know what?
That is what I am, (I don't know about the rhetoric part) and I am not
ashamed to be a liberal. I don't know if I'm a democrat anymore, I left the
party disgusted. I am now a green party member. (oooohh even worse! LOL!)

Scott, let me introduce myself. I am 47 years young,  quad athetoid CP, plus
the attending arthritis and disc disease that seems to find many of us CP-ers
in our 30's. I also have fibromyalgia, a pain syndrome.
I am a writer, consultant, desktop publisher, and now I've been appointed by
Mayor Brown to be on the Oakland Mayor's commission on people with
disabilities.  I'm divorced, no human children, but have two cats, and three
dedicated assistants that come to my place to help me out about 5 hours a
day.
