Hello,
Help wanted. I am on the Planning and Zoning Commission fro Woodbridge,
CT.. We are mandated to write a Plan of Conservation and Development.
We have begun n the process and I am looking for great plans by other
similar communities. In brief: 90% of town is 1.5 acre lots with one
family homes scattered within protected watershed, conservation areas,
preserved open space and state park. Population is 10,000, with a
probable build out max of 12,000. There is a probable area for growth
identified by the state which could be designated a Village District,
suitable for developing a New Urbanist style community. The town is
seven miles from Yale and downtown New Haven.
Thanks,
Leland
