Hi John,

Are you sure it's the xp firewall blocking her from getting out? If so, you
can open ports for the firewall but what I would suggest is to install a
better firewall like Sygate. It would automatically ask her for permission
to allow echo link to access the internet. It's also a better firewall
because the xp firewall only shields incoming traffic, it does nothing about
outgoing traffic.

HI all.  Does anyone know hwo to configure the ports in the windows XP
firewall?  I just got Marcia, WA8ZJU going on echo link but she needs to
turn off her XP firewall in order for it to work.  Now, I just need to
talk her into joining this list!  GRIN!
