Hi All,
Well, despite the fact I don't have a rig here or anything, I downloaded
Digitalk here at work and set it up. I do have some questions though. It
seems there was an initial warning from Handihams about using this product
if you had your computer's sound card acting as your synthesizer. Something
about transmitting in a nonvoice band. Has that been cured? Second, I
thought from what I recently read that you could set digitalk up to use true
voice or you could use your computer's screen reader i.e. JAWS. How does
one go about this? Finally, if this is a sound card application, why do I
need a comport?
Sorry to be dumb on this stuff but I really want to try this.
Thanks much and very 73.
