The 706 will speak S meter, mode and frequency, the 703 I have no idea but
would imagine it's the same as all Icom radios are currently. The TS-2000
covers 160 through 440 unless you get the version with 1.2 gigs in it too,
and that says S meter, Frequency, and reads the menu settings. The Icom
radios do not read menu settings and in the radios you mention the mic gain
and power settings are in the menu which is set by the tuning dial which is
why I sold my 706
