HI, Guys,
All of the sellers of blind-market products have at least one light
sensor, or "light probe" device in their catalogs. Some have two or
three, and prices range from about 30 dollars to over 120 dollars
depending on the capabilities of the device. Check out some of these
sources:

LS&S Group,
http://www.lssgroup.com/

Independent LIving Aids,
http://www.independentliving.com/

Disability Specialtys,
http://www.disabilityspecialtys.com/

NFB Materials Center,
http://www.nfb.org/

Royal National Institute for the Blind,
http://www.rnib.co.uk/

Maxi Aids,
http://www.masiaids.com/

There are at least a dozen other sources for these things, also,
including, as Steve suggested, contacting the nearest center or program
that provides vocational rehabilitation services to your area.
