Hi Gary.  The first thing you want to try is recording in sound recorder
or any other sound recording program, to see what kind of audio you
actually have.  That way, you will know if the problem is your audio, or
echo links processing of it.  The fact that you are hearing good audio
from the server itself indicates that you have good recieve audio anyway.
 Hope you figure it out.
