Ladies and gentlemen:
The NEHEMIAH Community Development Corporation has invited us to this year's
celebration which will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2000 at the Monona
Terrace Community Convention Center. The celebration will kickoff with a
youth parade and includes entertainment , ethinic food, vendors,
informational booths, music, cultural displays, children's activities,
educational presentations, and good family fun. Here is an opportunity
for your agency or business to have contact with a large portion of
Madison's African-American community. It is a family event which is an
alcohol-and drug-free event.
You can rent a space at the celebration for information sharing, vending ,
or displaying or by adveritsing in their Program Booklet.
Vendors MUST sell Afro-centric cuisines, because the Monona Catering has
exclusive rights to the following items:
-Barbeque Meats
-Drinks( soda, lemonade juice, ice tea etc)
-Others ( hot dogs, hot sandwiches, pizza, pretzels, candy,potato chips)
TIME: 10 am-7pm.
THEME: REJUVENATION in the 21st Century
There will be an informational meeting for all parties interested in renting
vendor space at the Celebration on Tuesday, May 16th at 6pm at the Monona
Terrace Community Convention Center in the HALL OF FAME ROOM, 1 John Nolen
Drive.
