I've been reading messages that the fact that the major
support organizations have not made any releases
about the latest paper published by Fasano et al.

1. Almost every one of these doctors is a member
of the medical advisory of one or more of these
organizations.

2. Where do you think that these doctors got most
of their subjects and blood samples through?

3. Where did these doctors get their financial support
and access to NIH?

4. Where did these doctors get the support and encouragement
to do this work? Who do you think recruited these authors
to do these studies?

I sure I represent most of the "active" members of these
groups and are very proud of the recognition that
this latest of more than 1500 papers and effort
on behalf of celiac research that preceded
this report.

I am very proud that we are seeing the results of the
major efforts by these national and international
support groups. This represents the work of many volunteers
and their very active efforts.

If you are not a supporting member of one or more of these major groups
"What kind of a contribution are you making?"

Do you realize that this very "CELIAC LISTSERV" is
a result of four very dedicated active members
of these major CD support organizations. They too are
still doing all the work and financial support that makes this LISTSERV
so valuable to the rest of us.
