Dear fellow listmembers,
I envy those of you who are lucky enough to be
able to eat corn :-) I must admit, I've been craving
popcorn lately (it still smells SO good!). Does
anyone have a suggestion for a gluten-free, corn-free
popcorn substitute? Something that I can make at
home that is fresh and tasty with salt? I'm looking
ideally for something that I can put in a hot-air
popcorn popper, so that the food isn't greasy or
high in calories. I tried to pop rice, but it didn't
work, and puffed rice isn't quite what I'm looking
for (although maybe I could toast it... I haven't
tried that yet... hmmm... ).
I'm presuming I'm out of luck, but if anyone
else has faced this and has come up with a tasty
munchie, I'd love to learn what you do. I'll summarize
to the list.
Thank you,
Kirsten
