Following an e-mail inquiry about GF items on the menu for the Charlie
Brown's Steakhouse (a chain located primarily throughout New jersey,
with some locations near NYC and in Allentown PA), I got a phone call
from the Executive Vice-President.

He explained that they had been working for some 6 months with a
company to go over all of the dietary and nutritional aspects of their
entire menu, so that they could offer accurate information on gluten,
sodium, or whatever (he happened to mention those two) for their
customers. Unfortunately, just as the report is about ready to be
delivered, the consulting firm seems to have disappeared, and he has
had some other problems locating them. But they are working on it, and
prepared to start all over again if necessary.

Just wanted everyone to know of another business that seems to be aware
of our needs and working to meet them. I have had good meals at their
location near me on Long Island, sticking to the obviously GF menu
items and working with the waitstaff to check on questionable items.

John
Long island NY
