I wonder if any one can help me, probably a Southern cook. I found a recipe
in the Atlanta paper recently that I would love to try (one of those easy
cobbler-type desserts but in this case pumpkin rather than fruit). It was
not a GF recipe and called for 1 cup of self-rising flour.

Could anyone enlighten me as to just what goes into self-rising flour
besides simply flour? (Probably some baking powder, maybe baking soda and
salt) and HOW MUCH of each. It should be fairly simple to sub. for just one
cup of flour but the other ingredients I cannot guess at.
