Hello Mike,
No force required. The retainer should rotate away from the slot, very
similar to the retainers holding the RAM in place. Gently apply a slight
downward pressure to the card while at the same time, pushing the top of the
retainer away from the slot. Some even look like a lever. When replacing or
installing a card the retainer should snap back into place. If it doesn't
fully close, again apply pressure gently to the card while pressing inward
(towards the card) on the retainer.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Compaq Desktop EN AGP slot cover
Hello
I'm 'trying' to upgrade the video on my daughters Pentium 3 Compaq Desktop
EN. The present videon is onbard.
The Mobo has an AGP slot. Inside that is a small card and that is held in
place by a very robust green plastic retaining device that holds the 'small
card' in place. I was hoping that the small card would simply 'pop out' and
in goes the new video card ... but no such luck!
I don't want to force the plastic retainer as I may damage the MoBo.
Can someone please tell me how I remover the retainer and the 'small card' ?
TIA ... Mick
