I think that feeding them their natural diets would
make for a better experiment as it isolates caloric
restriction more. With lab chow, you don't know if the
increase in lifespan is correlated with the reduction
of bad food or caloric restriction itself. It would be
interesting to find out if any CR experiments are
being performed with natural diets..

Don't know, there are probably many factors. Same
thing with the Okinawans. They're practicing some
caloric restriction _and_ they eat seafood _and_ they
probably live in less stressful environment, etc..
Anybody know if Okinawans eat rice?
