I know that beets and turnips are edible raw, and have eaten them
with no ill effects. So according to the "sharp stick" rule, they would
be Paleo.
I love beets, but they do not agree with me, so I eat them seldom, in small
amounts.
Vegetables on the boundaries, such as beet, winter squash, green beans,
peas,
etc., have their supporters and detractors. I think they're okay,
others say not.
Partly it depends on how they agree with your digestion.
BTW thanks for the Swedish cookout recipes.
