Sometimes I very strongly feel like having a couple of potatoes. I'm not
saying no to that feeling. I boil them, then crush them, and then blend
them with chopped cucumber and lard. The mixture contains even the peels of
these potatoes. When I'm done I drink the boiling water. I don't regard
this meal as non-paleo. In fact I've never been a great potatoe eater.
Maybe potatoes act like
 some kind of medicine to me. In nature, maybe just
a bit of a potatoe would be enough, since wild varieties are more poisonous.

Is that the only reason you're avoiding them? Have you tried what happens
when you eat a potatoe or two when you desire them?
